Selection and Application

Selection:

The São Paulo School of Advanced Science on Pathogenic Trypanosomatids will select 80 participants (40 from all states of Brazil and 40 from foreign countries). The selected participants will be fully funded, which includes airfare, medical insurance, accommodation and meals throughout the two weeks. In our selection, we will prioritize graduate students (Masters, M.Sc., and Ph.D.) and post-doctoral fellows from endemic and non-endemic countries in the field of Neglected Tropical Diseases.

Candidates will be evaluated by the Organizing Committee based on the following documents required for application:

  1. Cover letter explaining why you are interested in attending this SPSAS and what is the foreseeable impact for your formation and research;
  2. A short text (max. 250 words) summarizing your current research project;
  3. An endorsement letter of your supervisor/thesis advisor explaining which will be the gains of your participation for the research group;
  4. Two recommendation letters to be sent directly by the recommender through email trypsschool@usp.br
